“Mimetic” lines are wrinkles which develop on the face with facial expressions. Over the years these may become deeper and permanently visible. Termporarily blocking these muscles with Botox relaxes these wrinkles and creates a softer and smoother appearance in the areas treated.

The forehead (“worry” lines) and between the eyebrows (“frown” lines) are the most commonly treated areas. The side of the eyes (“crows feet”) and lines between the eyes and the tip of the nose (“bunny lines”) are also very popular. It can also be used to reduce elevation of the upper lip in those with “gummy” smiles, smooth lines around the mouth (‘smokers lines’) and to lift the corners of the mouth. In the neck, prominent bands of muscle can also be relaxed.

Your initial consultation is free. Together we will discuss a suitable treatment plan to give you a natural and softer look. Following a treatment is takes between 4-8 days to reach full effect, and you should normally enjoy the results for 3-4 months.

Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a naturally occurring substance in skin, which gives a fresh, full, hydrated appearance in young healthy skin. HA reduces with age, reducing the volume of the skin, and can leave a tired looking appearance. Folds between the cheek and lip (nasolabial folds) can appear deeper, and the lips appear deflated and less well defined. Dermal fillers containing HA can be safely injected along the lip to give definition and fullness, along folds and lines to reduce their depth and soften the face, and to the cheeks to add structure and volume. RResults are seen immediately and give a very natural look and feel which should last for at least 6-9 months.

Your initial consultation is free. Together we will discuss a suitable treatment plan to aim to give you a more youthful, hydrated appearance.

  • For 0.5ml (e.g. lip enhancement, nasolabial fold reduction) from £250

Dermaroller treatment (also known as 'Dermaroller Skin Needling' or 'Collagen Induction Therapy') stimulates new collagen synthesis in the skin, leading to younger, brighter and healthier-looking skin. Numerous, ultra-fine micro-needles on the Dermaroller penetrate through the epidermis to create microscopic punctures in the skin’s surface. Dermaroller is a powerful non-surgical treatment in skin rejuvenation, as production of collagen tightens and firms up the skin - just like a laser or chemical peel does, but without prolonged healing, skin damage, down time, and cost. Dermaroller may also help skincare products penetrate the skin more deeply, such that they can have greater effect. Dermaroller can be used to smooth fine wrinkles, as well as improve scarring (acne scars, Ice pick and chichenpox scars), stretch marks, enlarged pores, age spots and sun damaged skin. The effects are long lasting, and it has the benefit that it can be used on all skin types.

Your initial consultation to discuss trying Dermaroller is free.

When sweating is over and above that which would be expected for a given room temperature or level of exercise it is termed hyperhidrosis. Botulinum toxin (eg. Botox) can be injected into the skin in areas of the body affected by hyperhidrosis, such as the armpits and hands. This helps reduce sweating in these areas by blocking the signals from the brain to the sweat glands.

Around 15-20 injections are given in the affected areas of the body. The procedure usually takes about 30-45 minutes in total. The effect of the injections usually lasts for several months (typically 6-9 months), after which time the treatment can be repeated if necessary.
